ST CLEMENT’S CHURCH, GREENHEYS - The foundation‑stone of St. Clement's Church, Denmark‑road, Greenheys, Manchester, was laid on Saturday by Mrs Fraser. …. The new building will be in the style of architecture known as  Early English Gothic, and will consist of chancel, nave, north and south aisles, with organ‑chamber, and clergy and wardens' vestries. The aisles will be lighted by 21 windows. Accommodation will be provided for 750 worshippers. The contract has been let to Mr Herd, Polygon‑place, Ardwick, for the sum of £4,392, and the church will be erected from designs by Mr H. R. Price, architect, 25, Cross‑street, Manchester.
