St Clement's Schools, Gransmoor Road / Toxteth Street, Openshaw

CHURCH SCHOOLS, OPENSHAW - New day and Sunday Schools in connection with St Clement's Church, Higher Openshaw are being erected. The site is at the junction of Gransmoor-road and Toxteth-street. The buildings are designed to provide accommodation for 604 scholars. The cost will be over £3,000. Mr Percy D Lodge is the architect and Messrs Hill and Hayes, also of Manchester, the contractors.
