This building is now open for the performance of public worship. It is in the Gothic style with open timbered roof, and two-light windows with pointed heads, and has a spirelet, containing a bell upon the apex of the gable. There is a porch to the principal entrance and a small chancel with vestry attached, having a cellar underneath containing boiler for tea parties etc. The building will comfortably seat about 280 persons; is heated by hot air and lighted by ornamental wall brackets. The total cost, including fittings and boundary wall will be about £800. Mr John Wild of Oldham is the architect; and Mr William Lees of Greenacre Hill, the contractor for the whole of the works.
