Stone Parapets for Rochdale Bridge and the River Wall in front of Town Hall
THE STONE BRIDGE - The minutes of the General Purposes Committee in reference to the improvements being effected at the Stone Bridge, bottom of Yorkshire.8treet. contained the following item: "Mr. Crossland (architect) having submitted a design for the parapets of the Rochdale Stone Bridge, it was resolved that Mr. Crossland prepare an estimate of the cost thereof, and of a lamp pillar to be erected in the open area on or near the bridge." TOWN AND BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE. TO BUILDERS AND STONE MASONS - The Corporation are prepared to receive proposals for the erection of Stone Parapets for Rochdale Bridge and the River Wall in front of the new Town Hall. Plans and Specifications of the work may be seen and bills of quantities obtained at my office or at the office of Mr Crossland the architect, 25 Park Square, Leeds on or after 28 February instant.
