BARTON ROAD, SWINTON - Mr H Bennett ARIBA 1 Chester-terrace, Regents Park, London NW1, is the architect for the open-air school, Barton Road, Swinton [Builder 24 December 1938 Page 1170 Column 3]. Tender:         £11,753. The school was demolished, in part due to problems with asbestos. The new Springwood School is built on the same site.
