United Methodist Free Church Market Street Burnley

The opening services of a large new chapel at Burnley in connection with the United Free Methodists were held on Wednesday. The chapel is by far the largest in the Connexion with seating for ???? persons. In the basement there is extensive school accommodation. The total cost will be about £12,000. The style of the building is classic. The architects are Messrs Woodhouse and Potts of Oldham. [Manchester Guardian 10 September 1869 page 3]
