The Society's methods of distribution are adequate and complete. The bulk of the goods are received at Broughton Lane where there is a large and commodious warehouse with a private siding. Railway trucks containing goods are shunted right into the warehouse and unloaded by an electric crane. Here they are stored and from here carted to the various branches as required. In addition t0 the Central Premises at Kirkbridge Road, there are twenty-two branches, all of which, with one exception, are the property of the Society. {Souvenir of the A.S.R.S Annual Meeting, Sheffield 1905 page 58].
