We give this week a view of a building in Llandrindrod, Radnorshire, now being erected under the superintendence of Messrs Smith & Heathcote for Mr Thomas of Penybont. Mr Bowers of Hereford is the contractor. Several of the chimneypieces are executed in pitch pine from the designs of the architects by Messrs Elliott Alston and Olney of Manchester, who have lately carried out several chimney-piece designs for architects in a very satisfactory manner. The heating apparatus and stoves throughout the building have also been supplied by this firm. The works, which consist of stabling, oven house and store buildings besides what s shown in the perspective, will cost a little over £6000. The perspective view was drawn by Mr Rawle.
