NEW WESLEYAN CHAPEL AT PENDLEBURY - On Saturday afternoon the foundation stone of a new Wesleyan Chapel was laid at Pendlebury in the presence a large assemblage. The cost of the chapel and the schools adjoining will be about £1,100. It is 55 feet by 42 feet and expected to accommodate about 400 persons and the schools adjoining about 200 scholars. The architect of the chapel and schools is Mr. Robert Boyle, of Manchester, and the builder Mr. Foggatt of Cheetham Hill. Manchester.
