Wesleyan Chapel, Samlesbury
WESLEYAN CHURCH, SAMLESBURY, LANCASHIRE - The foundation stone has just been laid at Samlesbury of a new Wesleyan church. The building is to be of Gothic design, and will be constructed of brick with stone dressings. It is to be 33 feet in length, 22 feet in breadth, and is estimated to accommodate about 130 persons. Mr. Thornley, of Blackburn, is the architect, and the contract has been let to Mr. Wm. Edmundson, of Blackburn. [Builder 4 August 1900 page 112]
