The new schools in connection with the Wesleyan Chapel, Bowdon, were opened on Tuesday evening. The building contains six classrooms, large schoolroom, ladies’ committee room, chapel keeper’s house etc. The cost will be about £1,700. The buildings have been erected from the designs and under the superintendence of Messrs Potts Pickup and Dixon, architects, Manchester and Oldham.
