A new Wesleyan Sunday school is about to be erected at Droylsden. The present school was the original Wesleyan Chapel, but is too small, and also ill-adapted to present needs. A new site has been secured near the present chapel in Manchester Road, and operations will shortly be commenced. Plans drawn by Messrs Waddington and Son, of Manchester and Burnley, have finally been accepted, and the contract has been let to Mr Ramsbottom of Pendleton. The estimated cost is about £3,000.
