West Lancashire T A Association Headquarters, Fletcher Street, Bolton

Just over six months after the old barracks were pulled down, Lord Derby will open new headquarters for the5th Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Territorials in Fletcher Street, Bolton, today. The barracks, which cost nearly £14,000, are believed to be the most up to date in the North of England, and are centrally heated throughout. The architect, Captain Wynne Thomas, is an old officer of the battalion. [Manchester Guardian 11 December 1911 page 13]
