Campbell and Fairhurst
Campbell and Fairhurst was a Southport-based architectural practice responsible for some of the first purpose-built cinemas on Merseyside and beyond. However, the dissolution of this partnership on 1 February 1909 pre-dates the cinema designs. It would thus appear that Fred Campbell continued to practice alone under the style of Campbell and Fairhurst, while S P Fairhurst set up as a timber merchant in Altrincham (1911 Census).
