In 1919 Thomas Jackson Hill commenced practice in partnership with Gordon Kenworthy and Frank A Meadows LRIBA, their work being largely associated with the building of cotton mills. About 1920 they joined F W Dixon in partnership under the style of Dixon, Hill and Company, T J Hill becoming senior partner on the death of Dixon.
