Ormrod & Pomeroy, later Ormrod, Pomeroy and Foy, were a Bolton practice. Ernest James Pomeroy, 1878-1950, came to Bolton from Southampton in 1899 as assistant to John Ormrod and joined him in partnership in 1904. Works included one block of cottages at Port Sunlight in 1906. Otherwise Bolton Artillery Cenotaph, Masonic Temple, Congregational Church Sunday School, St Georges Road, to which Lever made a financial contribution.
The partnership between J Ormrod and E J Pomeroy at Acresfield, Bolton was dissolved on 31 December 1913 with Ernest Pomeroy continuing the practice in partnership with Joseph Foy under the style Ormrod Pomeroy and Foy until 1937
