 Arthur Rowland Walsingham, the son of Arthur Henry Walsingham (qv) architect and his wife Emily, was born at Monton in Jul-October 1895. After serving in the First World War, he appears to have worked for his father until the latter’s death in 1935. He continued to practice under the name A H Walsingham until 1938, only then practising under his own name. He was elected LRIBA in 1935. After the second World War he practiced from his home, 50 High Grove Road Cheadle.

Arthur Rowland Walsingham died suddenly at his home on 6 February 1960 He was survived by his widow, Elssie, and son, Peter.
