Bolton Town Hall

The second contract for the Bolton New Town hall has been let, and gained by the firm who have built the basement - Messrs Ellis and Hinchchffe, of Manchester. The sum is between £44,000 and £45,000. Their contract for the basement was £1,800. The contract will have to come before the council meeting on Wednesday for confirmation but there is little doubt on such a matter as to the opinion of the Town Hall Committee being adopted.
