Messrs. Hart and Son have executed, from Mr. Withers design, a very good brass lectern for the church of Louth, Lincolnshire. The cost was not less than £250. It has a single desk, and a very enriched stem, on which, standing on projecting crockets, are four statues of saints in the round. Large crystals are freely used on the stem. We think the base the least successful part of this new and elaborate design. [Ecclesiologist 1866 page 63]
