Broomfield' and 'The Winns' Alderley Edge Cheshire.

Two houses built on a four acre site below the Edge. Thomas Worthington, who was articled to Bowman at the time, acted as job architect for 'Broomfield'. Bowman paid the cost of construction and the client, John Swanwick, took a twenty-one year lease on the property. At the termination of the lease Worthington purchased the house from Bowman. John Swanwick's daughter became Worthington's second wife.
