Church: 1908 by F P Oakley. Irregularly coursed buff sandstone with sandstone dressings, red tile roof with stone‑coped gables and stone chimney to vestry. Florid Decorated style. North to south layout of nave of 4 bays and l‑bay chancel in one range. East aisle, west porch and south‑east porch. Buttresses divide nave bays which contain 3‑light windows with reticulated tracery. South window similar but above castellated bay window of baptistery. Segmental headed doorcase to south‑east porch has carved oak leaf panels. East aisle has triple trefoil‑headed lights in rectangular surrounds. Interior: Dark red brick with buff sandstone dressings. 4 bay arcades on diamond sectioned piers and a plain pointed chancel arch. Pine hammer beam roof to nave, sprung from stone corbels, has cusped wind braces. Chancel has wagon roof. (Pevsner and Hubbard).
