A Congregational school at Castlecroft, Bury, Lancs, was opened on Saturday. It is Renaissance in style, and is built of red Accrington bricks, and fitted in pitch-pine. The building covers an area of 96 ft. by 50 feet, and accommodates 700 scholars. Mr. J. D. Mould is the architect, and Messrs. Thompson and Brierley were the contractors.
