TREMAINE VICARAGE CARDIGANSHIRE, — A house, of the same cost as the last, by the same architect, and of the same style. The planning of all these is varied, ingenious, and carefully adapted to the particular sites. [Ecclesiologist June 1867 page 187]

LISTING TEXT - 1867 former vicarage. Cilgerran stone, one and a half storeys with imitation slate roof. L-plan. Three large corniced asymmetrical ridge stacks of differing heights on front roof and one on rear. Raised plinth. N front has centre gable breaking eaves with one window and three symmetrical windows on ground floor, all 12 paned horned sashes, segmental pointed. E gable end has two windows on each floor and smaller 6 pane sash windows each floor to left. 2 pane window to 1st floor on left. W gable end has two similar windows above and one below. Six panelled door to right with 3 pane overlight. One window on ground floor on SW rear wing. Rear wing has E outshut meeting similar roof on SE corner of main house. Wing has to rear, one first floor window, 12 pane stair light at mid level and one 6 pane window below. C20 porch. The three N side front rooms have interior shutters, ceilings panelled with raised timber strips and plain marble fireplaces.
