On the first floor there is comfortable lounge, with bar. and an entrance hall communicates with a large billiard room to accommodate two full-sized tables, reading room, card room, and a committee-room. The three rooms are across the main front of the building, and, in case of need, the sliding screens dividing them may removed to form one large room, over 40 feet in length, tor public gatherings. The caretaker's house contains living-room, bedrooms, scullery, and bathroom. [Manchester Courier - Thursday 23 March 1911 page 9]
