HILTON LANE PRESTWICH – To Be Sold, a NEW HOUSE, containing three entertaining rooms, kitchen, scullery, butler’s pantry, cook’s pantry, storeroom, six bedrooms on first floor and five above, bath, water closet, housemaid’s closet and six good cellars. One of the first to occupy the house was Edward Hardcastle Esq of "Headlands" Prestwich and New Lodge, Hawkhurst, Kent. MP for South-east Lancashire JP and DL for that county.

Converted into a private hotel in 1932
