This house was featured in the December 1929 edition of the magazine Homes and Gardens with the following description: “House at Bowdon, Cheshire: Entrance Front. This is a well-designed modern house, built of brick and roofed with tile. The entry is set in the angle made by the projecting wing on the South side. The windows above give light to the staircase hall and the first-floor landing, and on the left is the kitchen wing. F B Dunkerley, FRIBA, Isaac Taylor, FRIBA, and W C Young, ARIBA, Architects.”
