                    The Liberal Club, in Eagle Street, Accrington was erected in 1885 at a cost of £9,000, from designs of Messrs. Maxwell and Tuke. It contains 3 billiard rooms with 8 tables, reading and news room, and a large assembly room capable of seating 500 people, and there is also a library of 1,300 volumes, and an attached bowling green.
