HALIFAX - Mr John Crossley has just erected a five-story substantial stone building, in the Italian style of architecture, for a new model lodging house. It will provide sixty beds in separate rooms, and has cost £2,811. Mr Paull, of Manchester, was the architect. This model lodging house Mr Crossley proposes to transfer to the Halifax Corporation on very liberal terms.
