A large memorial to Francis Dukinfield Astley (1781-1825), Lord of the Manor, who died on 23rd July, 1825, is built behind the east end of the chapel. Urn on pedimented plinth with detached fluted Ionic columns; it bears an early Masonic Lodge number - 562.
