Contracts advertised in July 1895. Advertisement for the letting of a large warehouse in the building, (then in the course of erection), noting that hoists and every appliance for loading etc would be provided. Application was to be made to Mr Scott, the Clerk of Works or to the architect, S D Davidson, 11 Peter Street appeared in the Manchester Guardian of 23 June 1896.

 

The new chief offices of the Rational Sick and Burial Association, which have been built in Bridge Street, Deansgate, Manchester, were formally opened on the 17th inst. by Mr. E. Strachey, M.P. The building, with its site, has cost about £24,000. [British Architect 23 April 1897 page 303]
