Silver Jubilee Model Theatre for Royal Theatrical Charities Trust
This model is now being shown to the public in aid of theatrical charities. It owes its existence to the goodwill of Mr George E Tonge FRIBA of Southport and to the generosity of Mr George Rose, a Manchester businessman. The builders of the model are Messrs Clark and Fenn Limited and the electrical consulting engineers Messrs Charles H Bell and Company Limited; while a large number of other firms and artists have been associated with it. The model is built in seven sections for the purpose of transport and the size when erected is 14 feet square and when placed on a stand it is 8 feet 6 inches high.
