A large Commissioners' Church on an elevated site to serve the increasing population of Macclesfield. The steeple dominates. The church is long with aisles and a many windowed clerestory. Lancet windows with Y tracery and four centred arches. Thin buttresses. Coarse pinnacles. Internally, octagonal piers and four centre arches supporting a thin hammer-beam roof.
