The four chief corner stones of a new Wesleyan Chapel and schools have been laid here. The chapel will be in the Gothic style, capable of accommodating between 400 and 500 persons; and behind there will be a large school room. The total cost of the chapel and schools will be about £2,500, namely £2,000 for the chapel and £500 for the schools. The architect for the chapel and schools is Mr Taylor of Manchester.
