New Build

On Saturday afternoon the corner stones were laid of a new Wesleyan Chapel at Edenfield, in the Haslingden circuit. It is estimated that the new chapel will cost about £2,800 towards which upwards of £2,100 has already been raised. It is being built from designs prepared by Messrs Maxwell and Tuke, architects, Bury and Southport, and is in the Italian style, of native stone parpoints with Fletcher Bank dressings.
