A partnership between Edward and Henry Shelmerdine (qv), sons of Thomas (i) and Mary Ellen Shelmerdine, as architects, surveyors and estate agents. This partnership was dissolved on 26 April 1882 with Henry Shelmedine continuing to practice from the same address in Dale Street, Liverpool.

NOTE that commencement of design for the Liverpool Echo Offices, Victoria Street, and Prince’s Buildings, Dale Street, Liverpool, ascribed to Henry Shelmerdine alone, may pre-date the termination of the partnership with Edward.
