A partnership between Fred Thorpe and Gordon Philip Whyman under the style of Fred Thorpe and Whyman, which commenced in 1939. After the Second World War Harry Briggs joined the partnership, then renamed Thorpe Whyman and Briggs. His son, Stephen Briggs, followed him into the practice, before finally retiring to Norfolk in 2007.
