Young and Westall
A partnership established about 1840 between William Young and Thomas Westall, chiefly responsible for the design of the Town Hall at Ashton-under Lyne. The partnership was dissolved on 16 January 1841, William Young immediately re-commencing in partnership with Charles Lee
The partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, William Young and Thomas Wesrall, of Manchester in the county of Lancaster, Architects and Surveyors, is this day dissolved by mutual consent. – witness our hands this 16th day if January 1861. WILLIAM YOUNG, THOMAS WESTALL. .... The business will be carried out by the aforesaid William Young and Mr Charles Lee, of this town, at the Offices 51 King Street.
