220 Artisan’s Houses, Birkdale, Southport

SOUTHPORT—Artisans' Houses—The Mayor of Southport has bought land at Birkdale upon which to build about 220 superior houses for artisans. The houses will be built in blocks of from three to seven, each will have large gardens in the front and rear, and will be constructed with the latest sanitary contrivances.
